Well, the first haircut went pretty well. He had just woken up so he was a bit tired. He didn't even cry when the clippers came out.

I Hate Swimming!

We took Kasen to the rec center a couple of days ago to see if he liked the pool better than the Vegas pool. Well, not really. He clung to me so bad. I think what he hated the most was all of the other kids splashing around. And maybe it was still a little cold for him. He shivered most of the time. Towards the end he seemed to be a little more okay but I wouldn't go as far as saying that he liked it. I decided I am going to have to make a weekly trip to the pool until he likes it!

Las Vegas

Well this past weekend we took a last minute trip to Las Vegas. My family was already planning on going because Taylor had a tennis tournament. Justin and I decided to join them. Kasen and I flew down on Friday and Justin came down Saturday. We came home on Sunday so it really was a quick trip. All I can say is that I was the person on the plane that you don't want to sit by. Kasen screamed for about 15 minutes until he fell asleep going to Vegas and coming back. I felt pretty bad for the people sitting around me but what could I do. Here are some pictures of our vegas trip.

Yummy Carrots!

Well, I started giving him fruits and vegetables on January 27th. It was pretty funny. The first thing I tried was carrots. As you can see, he got more on his face than in his mouth. You would have thought he was eating sour patch kids or something. He was making the most funny sour faces. He has gotten used to them now and does a pretty good job. His favorite vegetable that we have tried is squash.
