Well, it has been awhile since I have posted but here is what has happened during the last 2 weeks. On Sunday May 3rd we had a major sewage flood starting in our main floor bathroom, traveling down our duct system and ending in our basement furnace room and pouring out of the ceiling. So over the past 2 weeks we have had a billion people at our house. Starting with the plumber, water disaster clean up, heating and A/C , Insurance adjuster, carpet guys and finally the general contractors. It wasn't just a little damage, it was a lot. The general contractors finally started to replace the torn out sheet rock this past monday. Hopefully they will finish by this weekend and the painters can start next week. Then we have the carpet guys coming in to replace all the carpet. In the middle of that we also had to replace the furnace! What a mess. Oh well, this to shall pass and things are finally starting to progress. Here are some pictures.

Ahh, that is too bad! Sorry to hear! Glad you are going to get it all fixed though.
Wow, it looks worse than I even thought. I can't believe how much your paint bubbled up. Hopefully they get it finished up quickly for you!
I can't even imagine, what a pain!! I'm sorry that you had to go through that! At least you're getting a "NEW" house out of the deal! Let me know if you need to get-away from the mess..you are ALWAYS welcome at my house!!
Oh that is so crappy. I am sorry Jess! Glad that things are finally starting to get put back together. I love the pictures of the ZOO. Looks like you have a lot of friends with kids the same age. That is so fun to have! You look great and I miss hanging out with you. Hopefully we'll get together when we get back from the summer!!
Sorry Jess what a pain! Nice that you can get all those things done though. Other than that, hope you are doing well
I guess there are some advantages to not owning a home yet...Looks like no fun to me.
Anniston has that picture of her and Kasen and she loves to walk around with it and look at it.
